𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛 𝟑 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 / 𝟐 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬
🚌 Drive: 2.5 hours to Cebollapampa (3900m)
🥾 Hike: 3 hours
After pickup in Huaraz, we travel through the stunning Callejón de Huaylas and into Huascarán National Park. We pass the turquoise Llanganuco Lakes before reaching Cebollapampa (3900m). From here, we hike for 3 hours to Refugio Perú (4700m), our base for the climb.
🥾 Hiking Time: 10–12 hours
We begin around 2:00 am. The route includes rocky moraines and short steep sections before reaching the glacier. After roping up and using crampons, we ascend snow slopes and navigate minor crevasses to reach Pisco’s summit (5752m) at sunrise. Panoramic views of Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Artesonraju, and Huandoy await. After enjoying the scenery, we descend to Refugio Perú for the night.
🥾 Hiking Time: 1.5 to 6 hours
We can choose a short 1.5-hour return to Cebollapampa or take a scenic detour up to 5100m viewpoint, then descend to Lake 69, and hike through Demanda Valley. Vehicle pickup at Cebollapampa and return to Huaraz.
