We begin our journey early in the morning, traveling by private transport from Huaraz to Vaquería. Along the way, we pass through picturesque villages and reach Paso Portachuelo (4,767m), where we enjoy breathtaking views of the Huascarán, Chopicalqui, and Pisco peaks. We then start our gentle trek through the lush Huaripampa valley, arriving at Paria Camp (3,870m), where we enjoy dinner and rest under the stars.

We start our day early, ascending towards Punta Unión Pass (4,750m), the highest point of the trek. This pass offers an unforgettable 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding peaks, including Alpamayo, Taulliraju, and Artesonraju. After soaking in the scenery, we descend towards Taullipampa Camp (4,250m), passing through stunning glacial valleys.

Today, we trek through the scenic Santa Cruz Valley, with stops at Laguna Arhuaycocha—one of the most beautiful turquoise lakes in the Andes. Along the way, we enjoy breathtaking views of Artesonraju, Alpamayo, and Quitaraju. We continue descending towards Llamacorral Camp (3,760m), where we set up our final campsite.
